I decided to reactivate my blogspot account. Let's face it - I suck at updating my journal here. I also suck at updating my site. Plus - I don't really want to post random art (and non art) related crap both here and there, so go there to be up to date with my recent sketches, wips, speedpaintings, news and sometimes random thoughts. Not much there for now, but very soon some new stuff is coming.

^{Hi.

Long time no see. For a reason. I'm slowly coming back from the dead. Had some bad stuff happening lately to me and just slowly recovering from it now - just saying for those who were trying to reach me lately. I've been quite away and inactive almost everywhere. I'll try to get back to most of you very soon.

First of all - thank you all so much for all the comments, faves and watches! I feel really great and thankful for all of them and I'm really sorry I can't manage to reply to all of you.

Third - some of my art will be published in two upcoming books, Drakaina's artbook and Exotique 4. Check them out, as well as other Exotique series (1, 2, 3) and Painter book where I'm also featured (by Ballistic Publishing) as they have lots of great arts by many, many artists! Also big thanks goes to Drakaina for being very patient with me coming quite late with my entry for her book.

Fourth - I'm pretty sure I wanted to write something more, but I forgot. Oh well. I guess that's all for now, I hope I'll be able to finish and show you all the personal pieces I have left unfinished for ages.. That is if work and studies will let me do it anytime soon.

^{Crap. I really didn't want to feel the need to paste any of those again and I wouldn't if it was minor, but it's big. Also - this is not the first time I encounter this very site and know that many people tried to do something about it without any success.

A resource of "free" graphics for websites, myspace layouts etc. Only that the authors, including me, haven't been noted about that at all.

^{ok, it's been ages but actually why the hell not, so I got tagged by

and ~loevas-eyes, here it goes:

8 random facts

1. I dislike my finished pieces. I really do, no false modesty in it. I think my sketches are much better than my final pieces as I get too tired of them too soon. People who saw my multiple sketchbooks can confirm it's true.

2. I drink black coffee with no sugar, because I really like the taste of it. I also smoke and I'm not proud of it, I'm trying to smoke less, but still didn't manage nor have time to quit. And I hate when people tell me "yuck, smoking, it's killing you, it's bad, it's ev1l!" - I know that, thank you. I respect non-smokers and don't smoke in their presence if I'm the only smoker. I also hate the fact they forbid smoking in many countries alltogether. I say - forbid smoking on the streets and inside clubs/pubs BUT give us ashtrays outside, let's say 1m around the place. Otherwise it's hypocrisy - selling cigarettes, getting the tax from it and forbidding smoking everywhere.

3. I like to cook. Mostly asian food (currently I'm experimenting mostly with japanese and thai cuisine). I definitely use too much soya sauce and vinegar (yes), love fresh ginger, garlic and pepper, but I don't use any salt at all. And I hate all fat in food. I love collecting various recipies.

4. I really dislike the fact there's no option to switch off DA's emoticons in posts like at other forums as I hate how most regular smilies look here and also hate to use such emoticons ^_~ instead of normal smileys.

5. I love driving my car and definitely listen music there too loud. I also think for driving hardrock / grunge is the best. I could never understand how people can drive listening to some soft ballads. I would've fallen asleep.

6. I am a grammar nazi. Yes. I don't mind some random spelling mistakes, but if someone writes to me like "ur 4rt is k3wl" I will ignore it OR if I'm in a nice mood I will gladly interpret it as "you are art is cool" and think you're not a smart person. It's "your" not "ur" and it's "you are" not "u r" and, heck, I'm not even english and it irks me.

7. Very low tones and very loud bass guitar is what I like in music most. Gothic metal and bands like Nightwish also all teen stuff like Tokio Hotel or My Chemical Romance is what I really DON'T like in music. Sorry guys, nothing personal here.

But I do think the lead singer of Tokio Hotel is a cute girl. Oh wait, it's a boy. Well then, he will be a cutie when he'll grow up in few years.

8. I hate ignorance. I strongly believe knowing general world history and geography is a must for everyone who finished high school. Yes, even if what you plan to do in life is just beta testing games.

* I always carry a small sketchbook and a pencil in my bag, wherever I go.

* I prefer to walk everywhere as I can listen to music on my player and just wander around and dream. Sort of. And it is a habit, really.

* There are certain books to which I'm addicted. My habit is to read them again at least once a year. Or often.

true facts:

* I'm ambidextrous. I draw and write with my right hand, but I do everything else with my left. I'm one of the kids who were forced to write with right in Kindergarten and Nursery school. I actually draw with my left hand almost like with my right, just slower. Whenever my right is tired (especially while painting with traditional acrylics or oils) I switch to left mindlessly.

* I hate ice-creams and all sweets. This is a fact.

what I don't like:

* being around people when I'm not in the mood. I tend to run away at such times.

Okay, enough of that. I'm not tagging anyone as people who I'd tag already did it or ignored it so go figure ^_~
