err.. i wasn't gonna submit it here, but =karincoma said she really likes it and that i should.. so.. well. here it is..

as you can notice it's highly unfinished and i'm always trying to send only finished stuff, so it'll hit the scraps later on.

anyway, what is it? this is my first attempt at cgtalk.com daily sketch group. this time the theme was "i, robot" in a steampunk manner.. so i did a self portrait and kinda.. missed the main theme a bit

took 35mins

, done mostly in painter7 with fine point pen, round camel hair brush and some water + some photoshop

oh, this is just a quickie, so i don't need any critique on this one, especially not like "it's kinda unfinished, ya know", oki?

the wisps of hair is what caught my attention. Great detail

It may be a bit odd, but my favorite part is the twisting hair at the top, set on the turquoise (?) background. It's all excellent, but that's where my eyes are drawn. You may say it's unfinished, but I quite like it that way. Thanks for posting this.
