i always admired people who mastered perspective. not the ones who know the rules but the ones who can draw amazing architecture just from imagination with no references.. i'm clearly not one of them _^_ but i'm trying to do my best anyway *grins*
this is a pencil sketch for a painting i'm working on. actually the piece is not really private and it's theme is gothic-styles (not goth, mind you, just gothic).. and it forced me to study perspective, i used several references, mostly from the big book called, well, 'gothic'.. i have to say i'm pleased with how it turned out, i know it looks messy here, but beilieve me that's how it should look..
anyway. the coloring is turning out really crappy at the moment.. and i have to finish it on wednesday.. it's gonna be a disaster..
oh, please, no critiques/perspective advices. i know how the lines should be going here and i doubt i'll change it.
