Scent of Dahlias by vinegar Scent of Dahlias by vinegar
another one from the flower series. my least favourite so far, oh well. uploading it just for the sake of the series.

referenced on myself, well, mainly the corset. and i think this is the problem, i tried to make it perfect anatomy / proportions wise and on the way i lost its feeling. also it was rather a speedy, took less than a day, so it's not properly finished. yeah, i know.

so spare me the harsh words ;)

photoshop cs2 and i think some painter (blenders), as i got lazy at some point.

It would seem that all of the characters in your pieces have a unique form of beauty, a sort of realism that pulls you in.

I really like this. I actually think it's the best out of the four i've seen. I have a feeling you've made her boobs look a bit plastic though, since they're contrasted too much against her upper chest and they're also slightly more orange than the rest, giving them an even greater separation - blend it in a bit and i think it'll look much better. I know it's months old and you have loads of other comments but i thought i'd mention that anyway.

A to przecież idiotyzm.

Naprawde. Stalo sie wrecz taka praca domowa do odrobienia.
A dobieranie refek do swojego rysunku - genialne! Wrocily checi zeby znowu sprobowac "lepiej". :)
Swoja droga - co to za praca? :)
A kawa zawsze dobra o kazdej porze. ;]

This is very beautiful~ I adore her face and the colors are just amazing, they really stand out.

If you dont mind a little critique for next time, I think due to the head size, the shoulders are not wide enough in this picture. I usually have this problem myself, and a lot of people tend to over compensate head size, because we see it as the most important part of the body (IE we look at the face to communicate, so therefore we accentuate it).

A good way to think about how wide the shoulders should be would be to take a measurement-- the length of the top of the head to the chin, and setting it from the middle of the chest out, and thereabouts is where the shoulders should end (give or take, some may have wider or narrower shoulders, but its a general idea)-- and the rest of the torso would fill out from there.

This is always something I find helpful when drawing, hope you dont mind I've pointed this out. :)

i don't mind it at all :) though in this case i won't agree, as i followed the ref and measured the proportions. I even made it wider a lot! now the problem might be i was a model and i'm a very, very thin person. usually when i use myself as a model i need to make everything bigger and wider, because otherwise it looks like bad anatomy. which is kinda funny actually :D
