Another art challenge by :icondaekazu:, :iconmidnighttea7:, :iconvinegar: and :iconmaudt:!​

For each challenge we interchangeably give ourselves an idea or topic to illustrate and a short, specified time to execute it in whatever shape or form... of course, without knowing what the others are going to come up with.​

This week's topic is :d​evvinegar:'s idea: Morning Mist. Draw something inspired by this title. Simple as that.

Okay, this is a work in progress. Or rather a battle in progress. I started this one very sure where I'm going with it and then got completely lost in the middle. I think this preview sort of show what I want it to look like in the end, but it's still very much unfinished. I'd say only the background and her face are what I want them to be like. The rest, obviously, is still very sketchy. Maybe except for the pillows (yay for pointless over-detailing). So, yeah, stay tuned for the finished piece ;)

As for some more specific info - I think most of you know already that I just like to put fish everywhere.. anyway, this one was based on a very old, pencil sketch, which I will show later, when it's finished, probably along with a tutorial, as I saved steps on the way.

It's funny, I've been thinking about doing goldfish/fish themed work lately myself. This is very nice. I especially love how you draw faces. Her face is so soft!
